A really good friend has crashed..asking for prayers
I am asking for some healing thoughts, prayers meditations etc for my really good friend Rob Peeler from Moose Jaw , Sask. He was my best man at our wedding and I have spent more time riding beside him on road trips with our motorcycles than anyone else. I just found out today that he crashed his motorcycle in Mexico just a couple days after this photo...over two weeks ago. The Hospital pumped him full of morphine and sent him on his way. Not blaming them because Rob is stubborn as hell and most likely refused to be admitted or checked over more. Anyways he was back the next day and x-rays discovered broken shoulder, collar bone and ribs..one of which punctured a lung. He punctured it again rolling over in the hospital bed that night so they induced a coma. Almost two weeks of "do we fly him back to Canada" between Insurance and Doctors and they finally flew him to Regina still in an induced coma where he remains now. Stable I am told and waiting for improvement. I thank you in advance fo any spiritual healing and good vibes / energy sent his way.

I’m afraid I’m not a religious person but I do wish your friend a speedy recovery. If he walked out of hospital with all those broken bones he’s one tough cookie. He will be ok.

Sending best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Unsure about the Tracky, maybe problems in the throat or mouth area?

Without knowing the exact reason / so I might be off-target, a tracheostomy IMO can do good things for people who need one -CanuckHoss wrote:Had a traecheotomy today..not sure if that is good or bad news.
- makes keeping the airway clear easier for the patient, less work in coughing
- by allowing suctioning without triggering coughing / gagging, reduces risk of pneumonia by helping to clear secretions more directly
- allows for less-uncomfortable-for-the-patient 'weaning' off assisted-ventilation i.e. while patient slowly takes over / takes back the work of breathing
- despite being a surgical procedure, is actually less risky than having to repeat intubation and extubation
