Wanted : SB valve cover

Post by CanuckHoss »

I need a left hand..(sitting on the bike) valve cover for the 350 ZZ4 SB engine I just sold off the wrecked bike. Did not know the buyer wanted them and the left is damaged.

Thanks

History Barry, History. They were "not" always chromed.
Ask the seller if they are chromed and it's peeling OR
if they are raw and just need polishing???
I have bought used stained SB V/C Boss Hoss and spent maybe 30 minutes polishing them and sold for twice as much.

Hey Paul, I believe what you are telling Barry is true. But in Barry's defense, that wrecked bike was a 2008. In 2008 Boss Hoss ZZ4's had CHROME valve covers. With that being said, the new owner of the engine probably wants a matched set of valve covers, not one polished aluminum one and one chrome one. I know that I wouldn't want one chrome valve cover and the other one polished aluminum. IMHO.... Triker

I will check this morning, not sure what type came with the pile of trike parts. I bought a rebuilt engine from Tim and it came with the covers on it.

They do not say Boss Hoss on them. They are probably aftermarket but you are welcome to them

Ok. Let me toss it around. I need the Boss Hoss ones for the fellow with that motor but maybe I can swap out another from a trike I have and replace it with yours. Need to decide. Thank you
