HOLY crap...this was this morning at 7am...watch this Police Interview Video...pilot tries to take control of an airline and he was 3 times the legal limit here.

The pilot was following and in accordance with the US FAA regulation 91.17 Alcohol or drugs that states in part:

1. No smoking within 8 hours of a flight.
2. No drinking within 50 feet of an aircraft.

Well, or maybe something like that....
