Pics from Arizona

Post by addicted08 »

Ron and I are out in Arizona for a couple of weeks. The weather has been really nice so we have been out riding around the country side and as usual I have pictures. :)

We stopped in Globe, AZ for a beer and the bar we went into was really different. There was a Harley parked inside the bar near the door. And up on a shelf was this motorcycle. The bartender told us it is made entirely of wood, right down to the tires and cables. It was really neat.

Is it just me or do you all think it is weird to have a boat in your front yard when you live in a desert?

We rode up to Tortilla Flat from Apache Junction. It is a really pretty ride and you go right by a lake. The rocks around there look like moss is growing on them. I realize there is a lake but still I don't think there should be moss growing in the desert....very strange.

Thanks for the information Elvis! Maybe if the weather here warms back up
we will ride up and check them out.

The first week we were here it was 70-80 degrees and today
it was snowing in Tucson. :bawling:
