Next we came to the Continental Divide at Monarch Pass.

They had a tram that would take you to the top of the mountain and since we have not done anything like this we decided to stop and take the trip up.

This is the first place where Ron has been able to use the "Senior" discount. :D

Here is the inside of the building where you get in the gondola and one of the gondolas.

Here we are at the top of the mountain.

Now we are ready to head back down. The attendant at the top gets the gondola door open for us.

We need your presence at Grumpys gathering or we will start
wondering about you? Are you too busy with your dance lessons or what?

Wildman,

Only ride this year was Sturgis. Hope to make it to the Fall LaCrosse thing and maybe to your neck of the woods.

Hogg, If you decide to make a run to Wildmans let me know and I will come keep an
eye on you. Sure hope they get enough people for a weekend at La Crosse in October
maybe we could even visit the Lumberyard? :capwin: :capwin:

Wow, this Pikes Peak looks much more comfortable and safer than Mount Evans. I gues we have to come back and do it again :)
