Ron & Deb in Arkansas

Well, we are off and riding again. This time we are in Arkansas. Here is a link to a video that lets you "ride along" with us for a bit.

We sure found some good roads to ride. We started out at Neosho, MO and took MO-D to the east. I'm sure it would be a whole lot prettier when the trees have leaves on them.



There are some really neat looking rock formations along the road.


And lots of hills and twisties.

This was a really cool use of the rock near the road. The way it hangs out from the base makes a nice canopy. So they added a picnic table and a trash can and made a road side park.



More great roads. Arkansas is a big agricultural area. Makes for some scenic photos.

You probably know by now that I really like the rocks and stuff that we see along the road. It is hard to imagine someone having the mad desire to build a road right thru the rock!




And of course I really, really like old houses and buildings. Here is a building with a mural on it that we saw as we came into Leslie, AR


These next 2 photos are as we came into Mountain View, AR where we stayed the night. The truly bad part is that Mountain View is in a dry county. You can't even buy beer at the grocery store!

Arkansas might be a good place to visit but I sure wouldn't
want to live here! Last night we stayed in Mountain View
and it is another dry county. You can't even buy a six pack
at a grocery store.

Shane is heading this way to go riding this afternoon and
with his help maybe we can find a town with some booze and
maybe even a titty bar.
