New Owner in the UK!

Post by rocketsteve »

Hi Guy's

it's me again, now signing in as a fully fledged "Owner soon-to-be" sort of bloke

And probably a good time now to let you know what trouble you've let into this Forum of pure Angels and give you a brief of ME....

Qualified as a Precision Engineer in the mid 70's working and playing in Microns, moved into high risk Health & Safety in the mid 80's with Shipbuilding [Babcock] which followed a natural progression in the late 90's into Counter-Terrorism Security with MI5 and Special Branch etc. with the new QE class Aircraft Carriers.

Now semi-retired and fast approaching 60 this year :o

Been riding since 16 and the hobby soon developed into a terrible blood borne disease - just like the rest of us...

Happy days :D

Forgot that bit Martin...

I'm in the South West of England, North Devon which is about 60 miles North of Ye Olde Plymouth. :)

I note there's another Steve on this forum near me and think he has a Cannon...

Steve,

Your new blue & silver Boss Hoss is stunning! I enjoyed taking a look at it and giving you some feedback!

Good Luck!

Thanks Bill,

I hoped to get a screensaver photo off the MBH Cycles page but they're not quite clear enough.

No matter, she'll be here soon enough. 8-)

Hi Iron M,

belated thanks for the welcome, my bike is about to be moored up in Halifax NS, hope she's not going to be there for too long...

Need to start getting the Cake & Beer ready for the party :D

I can only agree Gordon (.)<

Ride report should follow soon V8B :D

There's a message on the rear fender saying:
"Wide Open Til You See GOD - Then Brake!"
Sadly it's going to get covered with the new rear light unit within the week.

Happy days 8-)

Your ride looks awsome!

And I'm shure you did not think about the license plate while you were on the road

Did you think about visiting some Boss Hoss meetings this year?
There are twoo bigger ones in Europe:
- The International Boss Hoss Meeting at Pullman City Harz in Germany; June 29th to July 2nd
- The 4th Scandinavian Boss Hoss Rally at The Fuglsøcentret near Aarhus in Denmark; August 17th to 20th

Thanks Paul, I'm happy with this one and yes Oldun, I did think about it but town roads not really suitable for testing the unknown with such a heavy & powerful bike! I have to bide my time.
I hope to do a tour with Gordon this summer and one of those meets might be on the agenda Martin and you're right, the licence plate didn't bother me really as the bike is in perfect condition. Police would have admired it just like all the others 8-)
