Hello from England

Post by steve644 »

:england:
Hi from England:
Bought a SB Boss Hoss in December last year a 2001 import from USA showing just 875 miles !!
Took her out yesterday for the first time and WOWSER what a beauty.
I was VERY apprehensive about the power and the auto tranny box and all the bad press about the nesco gear box but all appears sweet.
I will post some pics when i learn how too
Safe riding

Steve, welcome, and I wish to express a certain degree of empathy for your new addiction. Once upon a time I too bought a first Boss Hoss.

Warning, it won't stop there :-)

Hi mate,

Missed your post on Apr4 so this is my formal welcome to this site (great site, great riders) you can say anything on this site so I can get away with "I told you so"

"Awesome these things are" (my mate Joda thinks). Upload a McDonald's pic - a rare site 2 Bosses together in a car park the UK.

I'm not knocking these two nice Bosses, But what some fugly ass license plates, They should let a man have just a bit smaller one and maybe anything but that color, the bikes are beautiful though.
Sorry I got off on a rant about the plates and forgot that I was on the New member section. Welcome to the site.

Indeed Barry, those are our fat asses! but saying that it's not our best view!

I can only agree with Bhill re plates but undersize plates are the first thing that our local cops will pull us for then they'll thoroughly inspect and with our pipes we try to keep a low profile (LOL). Mine is right on the smallest legal plate size for 'cycles in the UK. We even have to have the plate maker's zip code displayed so the cops can chase them for supplying illegal plates.

My pic shows a slightly better angle.

Yeah agreed the plates are nasty but our cops
Just don't tolerate small plates.
As Gordon says it's the easiest thing to write put a ticket for and then start examining the rest of the stuff.!!!!

Hi Steve,

A BIG Welcome to you!

You found the place where insanity is counted as normal

Do you plan to come to the Boss Hoss Rally in Pullman City Harz in summer?
Anyway, have a good time on your ride!
