Hate to do it - Price lowered

Post by Drm1 »

After so many awesome years owning my bike I've made the decision to part with it. I'm at the point where I'm enjoying my Corvette more and not feeling as anxious on the road as I do with the bike. Too many friends have lost their lives or have had serious injuries biking recently. My wife is scared to get on it and since she rides with me almost 100 percent of the time, the Vette is the safer option. Two years ago I NEVER would have considered selling.

So's here's the scoop on the bike:

2001 350
$18,200
32,000 miles

Extremely well taken care of and ridden very conservatively.

This bike was basically stock when I purchased it from the original owner. All upgrades were either done by myself, Marv at Chopper City or Tim at Boss Hoss Concepts.

Engine was HP upgraded with cam, roller rockers, Quickfuel carb, ignition and Marv's triY headers. Does have a 75 shot NOS system but never used.

I have all the service work and even the smallest add-on's documented with receipts, dates and mileages.

Here's a comment from another Boss Hoss owner who knows my bike on the Facebook V8 Motorcycles and Trikes, Buy, Sell, Trade: " The pictures sell this bike way too short. It's absolutely gorgeous"

Drm1,

Sorry to see you put it up for sale.
I still have my 2001 ZZ4 that I bought
new at the factory. Mine is the 108th
unit for that year. I have a little over
91,000 miles on mine. I will keep on
riding it for as long as I can. If I think
my legs can't handle it, I will look into
having the factory trike it out.
I understand that we have all lost fellow
riders to accidents. I always ride with the
mind-set of "everyone is out to mow me down",
and I believe that makes me a safer rider.
Good luck with the sale. Someone will be
getting a CLASS bike from you !
(Don't crunch the Corvette ! )
