Have always admired your trike Clint.
Hope you get sorted to your satisfaction, and also that you stay on 3 wheels.
Best wishes from Belfast.

Hi Clint,

Have you thought of advertising on Ebay UK?, it would be unique here and may have real appeal. We are getting into our riding season here in a month or so and may catch an eye at the right time. I can help a buyer get sorted in the UK. I'd suggest shipping via Fort Lauderdale - Roll-on roll-off to Thamesport England. Between Drennan (trike man) and I, I'm sure we could help (I haven't spoken to Drennan to ask for his help so that's purely specualtive).

I'd be delighted to help.

Barry,

I thought you were referring to the GREEN one, LOL or Gwen would

I only know of 3 trikes here, Drennan's 502, a 502 chevy belonging to the UK dealer - Hammy and one is a 350 355hp red and black chevy of Jez Larbro in the Kent area. I've never seen one actually on a UK road. V8's certainly have the rarity value here and I bought mine over the internet so there must be scope, what's to lose? a listing fee on ebay UK.

When it comes to the UK tests, well, I'm not an expert but I've been through it and can remember all the little things, if the new owner has a decent sized double garage or storage area and I have the wiring diagram we can get it sorted for the UK test.

Not much to loose as you say listing in the UK..one never knows. Biggest thing would be giving an accurate estimate of shipping for a trike to the potential buyer.

Pretty Sure that Uwe can get that info to you. It would be the Buyer's responsibility to get it "Legal" over there. The Buyer can always enlist the services of Uwe or Andy to get her in and certified.

Yep, it can be done with a bit of work, you just have to want it to happen - all the knowledge is out there. Andy certifying would take a load of hassle out of the deal too

Hate to see it go as it has been a really special ride. Sherry and I put our money together and purchased it in March 2008. We have had a lot of great times on it,for sure, and met a lot of wonderful people.

Congrats on the sale Clint. I'm sure it's a bittersweet moment, but I'm sure a relief to have the process done to allow you to move on to the next plateau.

Cheers,
Mike

Good for you, good luck with building the retirement home. I know the sale of your 57 is bitter sweet ... been there, done it. I suspect that after the new house is built that V8 itch will need to be scratched and you will find another to fill the space in the garage ...

Clint,

Wish I had lurked here a bit sooner. They say timing is everything. A good bud here in NC has been tire kicking for awhile and just now decided he wants to pull the trigger on a 3 wheeler. Yours would have been a great candidate. Sorry I was late seeing it, glad you got it sold. Best of luck....
