Hi Zepman,
stepped up to 11.5 mm dia with 2 pieces of plastic pipe.
It's now been tested and works fine - no oil leaks.
Put a smear of clear silicone around the top to make sure no water vapour enters the gauge.
Don't know if this is long enough for the 502...

It might be interesting to know your oil temp but it's uncontrollable , it is what is .
