I would like to get some opinions on the technical aspect between the two. Looks being subjective, I think the KM looks better due to the "beefiness" of the trees. I also realize there is a lot more work involved raking the frame on an already built bike vs bolting on a set of TT's

I have the KM's, kinda like em, but wish I had it raked instead.
Can't access the spring load tension without a major production.
Add alot of extra weight, 40lbs or so.
Cost is much cheaper to rake versus buying a KM.

I wondered the same things before I went with the KM trees,Jim. Raking the neck is less expensive but for all practical purposes,a permanent modification. Raking the neck without any other mods is going to result in heavier steering, due to the trail increase. Custom trees would fix the problem but would add to the total cost of doing the mod. Raking the neck with no other changes would also lower the ride height.

The KM trees are a four hour installation and can be easily replaced,if the need arises. The rake figures engineered into them almost makes it seem like power steering. The KM trees have approximately 6" of fork tube adjustment for ride height.
