Raised a good point, I thought it was , TDC, rod swivels but no side play, 1/2 turn then lock down, next TDC.

What's the alternative?

Look up Exhaust Open/ Intake Close method. Seems to be what most use for hyd valve lash setting.

I'd like to give a shout out to Marv at Chopper City and Mike and Summit for the help in getting this thing ready for bike week. I really appreciate the patience and time spent with me on the phone.
