Depends on who you ask. Some Holley and some Quickfuel.

Did it come with an Edelbrock 1910???
That is the choice most have gone with.
And IF you don't like it have Carb Mike
do his upgrade and you will be happy.
IMHO

I've always had the best luck with Holley's on my street rods (Ford's & Chevy's) over the past 40 years. I had a 650 double pumper with mechanical secondaries on my bike, and had a lot of hesitation and lousy fuel mileage. A Top Fuel Mechanic told me to try a 570 Holley Street Avenger. WOW, what a difference. It has vacuum secondaries, better acceleration and much better gas mileage, AND I'm not fouling spark plugs any more. A 770 or 870 Street Avenger may be what you want depending on the cam, compression and manifold you are using.

Had a demon 750 on it . Ran good but the butterfly shaft wore the housing and would leak gas out of it .

I tried a Holley 650 on my SB back a few years ago and I tried everything to get rid of a hesitation including buying a box of jets to change but just couldn't get rid of the hesitation . Then I had carb Mike do his magic on my 750 Edelbrock and honestly the engine felt like it gained 50 hp . I don't think my set up could get any crisper or could I improve the performance .

You never know, Barry raves about this F.A.S.T. EFI he's installed on the small block trike most recently! Technology is really improving fast these days.

Hey John from NJ. A 1901 carb arrived with no note. I'd like to know what I'm to do with it?
