Do You Know how Good you have it?

Post by petitemoose »

Ay Biketoberfest, I stopped in a booth selling Fans for the Harley ( and other air cooled Bikes I assume ) and asked a few questions. The first question I asked was " Well, Just how Hot do the Bikes get?" I was shocked at his response! He walked me to a bike that was idling for about 4 hours with his fans attached and showed me the digital Thermometer aimed at the Jugs that read 234 Degrees. I was not all that impressed until he shared with me that his fans dropped the temp 100 Degrees!!! Those bikes run at 250+ degrees on the highway and the rear cylinder cuts out when they exceed 320. I laughed and commented "WOW, I run no more than 185 degrees and have 4 times the horsepower"
it's kinda nice being spoiled ;)
Who says building a border wall won't work?!? The Chinese built one over 2000 years ago and they STILL don't have any Mexicans ...

The radiator on the BH is one of the biggest complaints I hear about it...

And your legs are at least as hot as someone on a Harley... lol
