White headlight bulb

Post by hogv8 »

I have a Harley VROD headlight on my Boss and would like to install the white or the blue light bulbs iN place of the bulbs that I have . I think The light has a H9 highbeam and a H11 lowbeam . Can I just change bulbs or what would I have to do ?

I found a discussion we had on this on the other site a few years ago . I guess It kinda answered my question . I'll figure it out myself.

Thanks , Jack

I installed a Silver star ultra white H11 (low beam) and it definitely is a brighter light . So far so good , we will see what happens .
I didn't see a H9 Silver star ultra white bulb ( high beam ) but will keep looking . Maybe they just don't make them .

I've been experimenting with different headlights on my kit car over the past 10 years. I'm currently using projection lamps, but word of these laser headlights came around about 2 years ago. I think these will be in our near future.
