Paris Rally

Post by gangstaboy1 »

Does anyone know if there is going to be a rally in Paris this year? No info on BH website. I keep hearing speculation on Monte selling again, Factory closing down (going under), not closing but cutting cost...find that one hard to believe since they get paid to hold the rally there. Anyone know anything?

I'm sure Monte is looking to sell BH again. I honestly believe he won't let it go under. He took it back when Ricky bailed out, which was unfortunate. It is posted in the Winter 2017 issue Boss Hoss Country magazine. The BH Rally is listed as September 21-23, 2017 in the magazine. The Rally is ALWAYS the 3rd Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in September. I haven't missed a year since 2009. What do you mean they get paid to hold the Rally there? It is just the opposite. It costs BH money to hold the Rally in Paris. This is in an effort to promote sales by doing demo rides, etc. A great place to have fun with the Boss Hoss Family!

They get paid by the State of Tennessee to hold the Rally at the park. No shit. I know that for a fact. What I'm not as clear on is the amount. I believe it's $30,000 plus all they collect as a "registration fee". They hire a couple bands, cater a couple meals and Shriners pays them for a bike to raffle off. Pretty good set up if u ask me.

I was speaking with Kim at the Boss Hoss factory today.
She asked me to post here, to request that you all
register now(early) for the rally.
She said it really helps her to save time to get our
packets prepared early, and it saves her time while
AT the rally.
Thanks and see you there !

Sure like to make one of these. Crunch time getting ready for harvest makes it tough. Maybe one of these years!

What would be the best airport to use? Also, what hotel is it?

Bill,

Most people stay at the Paris Landing Inn / State Park.
http://tnstateparks.com/parks/about/paris-landing

Paducah, KY airport is about 1.5 hours away. Nashville, TN is about 2.0 to 2.5 hours away.

This page has more lodging options and registration info:

Hope to see you there.
Regards,

Mark

When calling the Paris Landing State Park for reservations, make sure you tell them you're with the Boss Hoss Rally group. I assume this will be your first time? Hope to see you guys in September.

I would like to thank you again Bill for leading us by being one of the safest and courteous Road Captains the Boss Hoss Family could have on both the Dice and Poker Runs this past weekend at Paris Landing State Park.
