DeLand Bike week show is Saturday March 11,2017 from 10am - 6pm. They usually get together about an Hour Early to grab some of that hot black stuff at a local joint. I am sure someone will chime in with specifics but I wanted to get you the date so you can make plans

The V8 Family Bike Ride / Parade is usually held on Friday. Sometimes it is escorted, sometimes it is not. They do the best they can to keep us all together no matter what. It is a BIG deal and a LOT of people participate.

Bill, not to confuse the issue, are you and Dennis referring to Wild Bill's V8 Run through Daytona being on Friday March 17,2017? I was referring to DeLand, or is there no such thing as a V8 Parade in DeLand during their Rally? Triker

I know of no V8 Bike parade during Bike week other than the one Wild Bill Heads Up. The V8 Parade goes through Daytona on Friday March 17.

Ok OK I stand corrected ... There is APPARENTLY a Mini "Coffee Drinkers Parade" Pre- DeLand Bike Fest on Saturday the 11th consisting of around a dozen V8 Bikes / Trikes

Thanks Dennis and Barry. You both cleared things up for me. I originally heard about the DeLand Bike Fest from Jackie at the 2016 Meet & Greet BH Dinner in Florida. By then, it was already over. I'll make either the DeLand Fest or Wild Bill's V8 Parade, not both probably, we'll see. By the way, I am a COFFEE drinker. The darker the better!!

Bill, I know, we did the 10th V8 Parade back in 2014. It was awesome! A lot has to do with my elderly parents at the time. Dad is 94. Mom is 90. I am blessed to still have them.

Bill, we have reservations made at the Holiday Inn Express In Orange City from arriving March 10th and departing on March 18th. I figured DeLand is about 10-11 miles from the HIE. Hopefully able to make both events, Ron/Triker

Bill, I just called the BH Factory. They will be in Daytona this March. I didn't ask for any specifics though. Do you or anyone on this site know of any meet & greets etc... with the BH factory group, like they have had in the past? Triker

V8Bikers, Did you ever call back to the Boss Hoss Factory to find out about a Meet & Greet or anything else they might be doing during Bike Week? Triker/Ron

With Doug back in charge I doubt much of anything is happening. He will probably attempt to dump the meet and greet on Whitney at the last minute like he has done the past few years. Fortunately for him Whitney can work magic and make him look good so we will see.

There's a lot of truth to what you say gangstaboy1. I heard that Doug is Monte's son-in-law. I truly believe this because when Ricky,Travis, & Susie were partners, IMHO Doug had to be part of the package. Again, this is just MY opinion. Triker
