If I remember correctly we were literally at the end of Main Street parking last year. The above is intended as a suggestion only, this ain't my show, I'm only a participant.

Exactly my thoughts. Do the Pancake run another day and sit around and visit and maybe take in the attractions instead of rushing away.

Then for Deland Saturday Bike Day we could organize a ride in to deland fairly early and grab a half a block of parking for the day...that would be really cool to see a line of V8's parked all day..as you said...just my thoughts...not my show

This is a super idea,

we take to DeLand !!!!!
ask for a meeting place !!

Of course all of these plans are weather dependent. Why not meet at the place Bill & Susan picked last year, the airport restaurant. If you need a snack go for it otherwise watch those stupid people jump out of perfectly good airplanes.

My bike hibernates in Pennsylvania and received a little TLC and tune-up in the meantime.

I can't wait to repossess and ride my bike in Daytona and I am equally looking forward to see you all!

Best regards

Awesome Uwe and Mark...anxious to see you both and see what Mark has done to the 502.

I land the 1st in Orlando so the 2nd I will have the trike from Whitney. Stay till the 13th or 15th...not quite sure yet due to loading date of trike in Orlando.

Can't wait!! :canada: :canada: :canada: :canada:

Hi Uwe,

I may not arrive in the US in time to join you for the trip to key west. I envy you guys BUT I do consider swinging by Fort Myers before bikeweek starts!

Perhaps we can meet up for supper the night before you leave town and ride together to Daytona Beach next morning?

Best regards

I received a recommendation from a secret but honest floridean source that the car show at Amelia Islands is a must to see. This year the sponsors are celebrating Stutz automobiles!

https://www.ameliaconcours.org/

Has anybody been to that event? Falls right into bike week!

Mark...

Interesting

2 hours and 13 minutes from Daytona and 123 miles

Probably won't fit my bit of a tight schedule that weekend as I head home the 15th and still not sure when I need the trike in Orlando...either the 13th or 15th...

I know a few have posted that they are coming in early but wanted to get a sort of master list together. My thoughts are that we can plan some pre bike week activities.
