Butterfly is under the knife right now and I am in her hospitol room waiting for word. Keep her in your thoughts and I'll post updates as I get them.

Just got the first report. They have the hip bone out (doner piece) and have just started to go into the neck to start the repairs. They have to remove the cadaver bone that failed and the associated hardware. Then they will take her bone and rebuild the whole thing. They will update me again in an hour.

Butterfly is out of surgery and doing fine in the recovery room. All is well and I should see her in about an hour.

Got her home now and buried in pillows and stuffed critters. Diet Coke, yogurts, applesauce, pudding and chocolate brownie caramel thingies all within reach, oh and good drugs too . She is resting well and I will carry your support to her. I'm sure that it will make her smile through the pain. Thank you, your caring and friendship mean so much to her.

UPDATE,

She is doing ok Bro's and Sisters. She can hobble slowly to the ladies room if you give her a minute to get started. Her throat is very sore as they had a very difficult time intabating[sp] her and had to pry a little . Her hip is hurting her very badly but her neck seems to be doing fine. She actually underwent two proceedures. The first was to harvest her hip bone for the fusion and the second was to undo, then redo the second cervical fusion that she had done. More tomorrow. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

The O'Girl improved about 20% last night and is doing better. Must be all the junk food I've been feeding her. Chocolate heals ALL wounds .

UPDATE! Brothers and Sisters has it been this long??? The BFly has had to undergo yet another surgery on her neck and that was Years ago now. I've been reviewing the responce from so long ago and still very much appreciate it! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN! We have resurfaced in El Paso Texas and the Beast has now been upgraded three times since! The BFly is doing Very well and posted here as late as last month. She still "Feels the Love" here and I intend to remind her of how much was shown so long ago. I Know that she Appreciates it VERY Much! All the Best!
