BB running without a gas tank?

Post by Zepman »

Hi all, I found this old video of the factory with what looks/sounds like a BB running without a gas tank. It's not difficult to miss a gas tank that size ;) and I can clearly see the air filter but the guy seems to get the machine running from 3:57 to 5:10. It seems a BB will run for a minute and a quarter on the fuel bowls only then...

Zepman, That's a 2000 bike and as Jack says
it has a reserve tank located under the seat.
If you look up at the right rear turn signal just
forward of it is the filler cap for the tank. There
was a cut out in the seat to get to the filler cap.
It's black powder coated on this bike but normally
just raw aluminum and holds 1.9 gallons.
