Can any Kewlmetal-front-end 502 owner help me out please?

Post by Oldun »

Since I'm presently about 7,000 miles away from my bike I can't measure it myself. Would anyone know the distance in inches from the front of the front tire, to the rear axle, on a 502 BB with a Kewlmetal front end? Thanks in advance!

A very close estimate from what I saw with Kewl Metal installs here is about 6 inches more than a stock 502 bike if that helps so someone with a stock bike could give the stock length.

May I ask why you need that measurement??

Thank you, that is helpful.

I got a medical issue from a past (non-motorcycle) crash that the body mechs cannot fix yet. Stops me riding more than about 150 miles a day. So - Plan B is a trailer or an AmeriDeck fitted on a pickup. Plan C - maybe a three-wheeler. But not yet.

I have an Amerideck with a 6" extension..fits 502's with the Kewl BUT I would go 8" extension to be 100% good.

PS..trikes are an absolute BLAST!!!!

Thank you Barry! Both for the measurement, and the trike comment. I may yet look to trade 2 bikes for 1 trike haha.
