Turn key factory LS 525 motor swap???? Could it happen???

Post by keithsv8 »

Just a thought?? , a turn key factory motor upgrade ( swap), remove your old small block or 445 HP LS and replace it with the 525 HP,,, could it be a possibility or would the math $$$ not add up?????

That is an interesting topic. Someone like Ricky Dietz would probably know the possibilities and the problems.

If you have an LS-3, a LS-525 or a 485, or even that Blue-Point 625hp LS-3 based engine will go right-in. You'll need only the engine and Macy to drop in the tune to your existing ECM; you'll use the same harness, headers, etc etc.
On that Blue Point 625hp, I am assuming that they are using standard GM LS-3 intake manifold w/ standard GM throttle body.
Dropping an LS into a SBC bike frame not going to readily fit, not worth the trouble and expense; go buy a new bike with a hot LS-3 engine already installed and ready to go, Boss Hoss needs your business.
