That is already in-progress, they will be available at Daytona and soon on-line; they look good too!

I have heard that ATI has come a long way in developing Lock Up converters that no longer destroy output shafts and overload bearings. That 1:1 ratio would go a long way in reducing engine RPM and still allow playing in 1st and 2nd gear on the bulletproof tranny. So maybe instead of an actual 3 speed ... How about a bulletproof 2 speed with an electronic Lock-Up Converter. Just flip a switch to activate and off you go ... If you say it fast enough, it sounds pretty simple
While not positive, I don't believe those lock-up converters are electronically controlled or can be controlled by a switch. I think lock-up is mechanical in-nature; basically if the converter has a lock-up RPM of 1800, it will slip / stall until reaching 1800 and lock-up above 1800. It has some clutch plates associated with it too.
I'll visit ATI after Daytona and will find-out the story on the lock-up converter, determine if applicable with our machines.

On another note, it has come to my attention that forum members on V8bikeriders aren't happy that I don't post over-there; I don't have bloody time to surf the internet and deal with every forum out there, I like this forum and will be active on this one only. Have something to say, say it here.

I agree ( not that it matters LoL ) As with any of the members on this site ( and some on the other as well ) if you ever need anything from me that I can help with, Let me know. If it is within my power to make it happen, I will.

I am very happy that "one of our own" decided to purchase the Company and has its best interest at heart. We all know that it will not be easy and that there will be some financial challenges to clean up the existing mess but I am rooting for you 110%.

Independent trike rear suspension would be worth a lot for me and Gwen. The going over bumps in town with one rear tire throws us for a loop but we both have bad backs.

Nearly missed the T-shirt bit Rick, I desperately want a couple or three of Boss Hoss T-shirts so anticipating the design, also an idea of chest sizes in inches for the US sizes (UK/EU T-shirts seem to be very different in sizing).

How do I buy from the UK?

Gordon, give me a shout when your ordering T's. will go halves on the post.
As for a trike idea (from my wife) could the gear shift be moved to the vertical face so there is more room for foot.

I haven't seen them yet but this is one of the new shirts, not sure if there are others as well, the ladies are running with all of that stuff, might have some surprises.
The website is being re-done, soon you'll be able to order and check-out on-line, many website changes underway, some should be done by Daytona, others soon afterwards.
I really dig Germany BH stallion design, Ande was happy for us to use.

Thanks Rick,

Don't the ladies always produce some surprises? :D

I like the Stallion design too (possible to add the V8 to the small logo?) and any other ones will be great, these will be exclusive T-shirts. Can't wait - if only I could be in Daytona.....next year maybe.
Great news re the website too, It would make it much easier to be able to order direct via credit card.

[Paul] I won't leave you out, we'll agree a joint order and I can use the CC and we can square up afterwards. It may not be a new $$$ Boss Hoss but still every dollar profit is good for BHC.

Exciting times...

This is a cut and paste from "Events"; but is relevant here too as addresses changes, I want to spread the word.

Well, Big Red + convoy is rolling towards Daytona!

Inside Big Red, safely strapped-down are 2 new machines that are unbelievable, totally awesome.

Yesterday, Monte paid me a compliment, said that that bike is impressive and is the best bike that this factory has EVER produced!! Can U dig it??
The entire Boss Hoss staff is amped-up and looking forward to seeing all of you at the track!!

Rick, we know you will be super busy during the unveiling. Please consider asking someone to specifically handle video and pics on the event and, of course, quickly posting them to this forum. I had planned to be in attendance but health issues came up that will prevent me from being there. I'd love to see near real time coverage of this special event. Thanks again. Dennis

Saw and heard the 525 bike and 525 trike today. Nasty sounding MFr's. For some reason the trike sounded nastier with the longer pipes

The 525 trike has a really nice custom paint whereas the bike is more plain but I like what they have done with the black theme on the bike

Nice job Rick and team on short notice!

Here's a couple of pics of the new 525HP LS-3 EFI bike. It's bad-ass.

So the big improvement to the new bike is the 525 LS3 with a choked off air cleaner intake. The paint job is the same as the V Rod with stripes. The wheels have been changed, the cheesy coil covers and the rest is blacked out. So really its the same bike except for the engine!! I was hoping for some major changes like a new transmission and a little better styling. Happy 25 Anniversary!!!
