New board feature - Translator

Post by V8Bikers »

In an effort to increase the reach, audience, and ease of use for our current foreign language members on the forum I decided to install a translate option that is located next to the Facebook link on the top header. Please let anyone you may know who would benefit from this change.

A translator would come in handy for sure Schatz...save a bit of embarrassment  ...seriously though nice addition Bill.

Bill,
good adition.
The translation is not perfect, but for one who does not speak English it is a good help. At least get the sence of it.
I will write this in German without the translator and then you may click the button and compare.

Bill,

Peter,
thanks for the input. I did see some differences in the wording when translating. I am hoping, over time, Google will continue to improve on it or a better option will be available at some point.

I hope this is helpful to our international folks and don't forget there are 2 styles to view this forum. The default style is white background with black text but there is a black background with white text. Click on your name and choose "User Control Panel" - "Board Preference" -change from "Absolution" to "Code Blackbird".

:england: Oops couldn't find Scottish on the translator, specifically for those from Aberdeen so I'll translate:

"Well, well, that's great, there's a lot of good in it and you are a very good lad and beautiful girl for doing that. We will all be chatting away with our stories about our bikes and giving help to our friends"

It's exactly how my Aberdonian Grandmother and Father would speak... seriously, it is a very cool addition.
