...some of us still do. Steve...I like your '72. I had a blue one quite a few years ago and wished I still owned it. They are nice. I just purchased a 2004 Z06 Commemorative Edition a couple of weeks ago...its fun.

Yeah,I've owned a bunch of Vettes, too. Never could get them and bikes out of my blood. Here's my last two, both ZR-1s,and both modified out the wazoo. :D Stock sucks!

Clint - I like the red '90 ZR1...I took one of the Corvette plant tours back in the mid 90's. It was neat to see how they mated the body to the frame and shortly afterwards be able to drive it off the line. I have a friend that works at the plant and he's promised me a behind-the-scenes visit if I come up. Hope to make it up there in within the next month or so...wonder how much of it has changed in the last 15 or so years.

No,they have made Chevettes only w fourbangers (1,4 and 1,6 gas and 1,8 diesel).
That engine and transmission in it now is 2,8 V6 from Camaro.
In future im trying to put LS3 + powerglide in there. :D :D

I have had a -80 Chevette w SB and i loved it!
