7th Annual V8 Motorcycle Run - Bike Week Daytona

Post by Wild Bill »

I can't believe that this ride is now in it's 7th year of raising money for the Shriners Hospitals for Children! Our community of V8 Bike/Trike Riders makes the V8 Motorcycle Ownership experience like no other... Thanks to all who support events such as this and others which help to keep our group tight!!!

Here are the details of the ride for 2011:

- 7th Annual V8 Motorcycle Run
- All brands of V8 motorcycles and trikes are welcome including home-builts. This is "V8 Motorcycle Run" and it has always been non-brand specific.
- Please bring ALL brands of bikes and trikes so we can enjoy the incredible machinery as a group.
- Wednesday, March 9th.
- Ride begins promptly at 1:00pm (please plan on arriving EARLY to bench-race and hangout!).
- Start: Custom Cycle Works / Daytona Beach Boss Hoss
- 806 N. Beach Street, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
- 386-257-1300 or http://www.cwidaytona.com
- Thank You Ted Kistner for graciously hosting the start of our event this year!!!
- End: Daytona Lagoon - Home of The Rat's Hole Show for 2011.
- 601 Earl Street, Daytona Beach, FL 32118. 386-254-5020. http://www.daytonalagoon.com
- This is a very cool ending point! We will park our scooters all around the interior of the waterpark - all paved / easy access.
- Location is just two blocks from Main Street and it's right next door to the Daytona Beach Ocean Center Arena - home of the International Motorcycle Show (http://www.oceancenter.com) which starts on Wednesday.

- The ride route and several other details are finalized, but we are waiting for approvals from local municipalities, so I will post those at a later date once they are 100% final.
- As usual, please come with a generous heart and give freely to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Look for the maroon donation buckets.
- Every dollar goes to the Shriners with the exception of a small donation to the local Police Department for their help with an escort. We are working on expanding our police escort for 2011 to make the ride better than ever!

More Details To Come... Stay Tuned!

Thank You All Again for making this annual event truely sucessful, fun and beneficial for the kids!!!

See You There.
