Sport Mode.

Post by TXscooterguy »

I have a car that has a sport mode. When engaged, the motor seems to rev faster and the transmission stays in lower gears longer. I'm guessing the ECU switches to a different tune. Is there any way that we could install a "sport mode" ECU in LS 300 motors? I'm thinking a handlebar switch so at bar time we small block guys can keep up with our bigger brothers.

There is a sport mode on nearly all GM PCMs. Usually the difference is only in the trans shifting, kinda like tow haul mode in your truck. The goal for the ecu exchange program is to make all of that the best possible so you only need one setup.

But in a nut she'll yes I could do something like that with a little wiring, a button and programming.

Nothing is finalized as of now but I am going through all the engine combos on the dyno making the calibration better. Some people have had complaints about how their bikes/Trikes run. If you are happy with yours and it runs good then you are fine. If you want a little more power and driveability then you might want to exchange your ecu.

The costs and tuning isn't quite finished yet. When it is we will post all the details.
