Post by V8Bikers »

and for those coming to bike week:
Just found out that Custom Works in Daytona is no longer a Boss Hoss dealer. They do still work on them and can order parts if needed - for now.

Dang...sorry to hear...it was great hanging out there for almost 2 days when my trike was down... and I hope / assume it still will be a good hangout...I also hope Tom from Mountain still gets to set up there..

If they can still order parts then they are probably a recognized "Service Dealer"..not Sales

Holy shit!! if true, that is major news. Wonder if they will still supply parts for some time period? I would think that someone would have talked to Tom about the availability of it? Also, if they stop making parts, what are we supposed to do about rebuilds?

Bill...

Can't comment on the Nesco.

But nothing / no news at all came out of the Paris Rally and that absolutely blows my mind...

All the mechanics from Custom Works are still in Daytona.

They all work with a former employee: Brigit Duncan. One of them is a certified trained Boss Hoss mechanic. So if you need any work done or just looking for parts or just go there for a chat and coffee: www.brigitscustomworks.com

They are located at 406 N. Beach Street, just up from the Indian (former Harley) Dealer.

Small shop but very nice and good people

This is really good piece of information, I remember talking too you about this in March. When I get back down to FL I will swing in to see the shop, kick tires and of course have a coffee :)
