Re: Securing a Boss Hoss in a trailer or truck

I can't help it laugh when I se bikes on trailers and trucks tied down leaning on their kickstands . That's just asking for trouble .

Re: Oil for your ZZ4

GM recommends to use 5w30 or 10w30 . That all I've ever used in my ZZ4 engine . I don't understand why a lot of ZZ4 owners don't use what GM recommends?

I don't really need a dealer because I do all my own work but is Mike Kelly still an active Boss Hoss dealer/repair shop ? I'm moving to North Fort Meyers FL. area and am just curious . I know Marko Island is not far from where I'll be living

Hey Jack, Any pics from behind the bars? Do you recall the rise and pull back on them? Thanks for the suggestion Paul, I’ll start searching. I don't have any pictures taken from behind the bike but I do have some good side views . I know the are 10" high , I and I think 6" pullback . I kn...

Re: Thinking about getting away from the ape hangers...

After the accident, my ape hangers are bent, and the risers stripped. So, I'm thinking this may be the opportunity to get behind something else... It's a V8 bike, it's wide, but it's fairly short. The tank is low and I have a fairly long torso. The bars on it are just about shoulder height. A biker...

Thanks chaps. I plugged the port but the problem remains. can anyone recommend a carb rebuild kit. They all seem to be in the US and I’d like a good one. They range from $27-$80 and expensive doesn’t always mean best. Thanks again I was told by Carb Mike to ask for a carb rebuild kit for a 1973 Che...

Fender mounts to adapt just about any fender to the Boss Hoss forks are very simple to fabricate then just paint them the same color as the fender . No big deal .

I have the GM Hot Cam , 1.6 roller rockers and a Edelbrock with the stage ll mod and the FR's are what Adrian recommended to me when I asked him about 15 years ago and I've been running them ever since with great results . Now maybe your stock engine with fuel injection runs better with the MR's .My...
