Re: WelderBoss's Diesel bike
SORRY, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT YOU WERE INVOLVED IN BUILDING THE FUCKING THING! I came over to this website so that I don't need to be corrected on every damn thing I say, for that matter, thank you.\ Geeze, sorry if what I posted was so offensive. I seem to upset too many people here, so I'm steppin' ou...

Re: WelderBoss's Diesel bike
Well, if that's a Cummins 4BT, and I assume that it is, it cranks out a whopping 90 to 110 hp depending on which exact one it is and about 250-265 ft/lbs of torque. No way in heaven or hell is it going to put out over 500 ft/lbs off idle without some serious mods. My 12 valve, which is the same engi...

Re: Beautiful but quite expensive flower pots.
If YOU Mr Fong carefully read my first line,it says : i´m idiot! Simple as shit! Well, then you belong to one of the biggest clubs on Earth. The only bigger one is the one for those that have never made a mistake because they never stuck their neck out. I would still try to negotiate withe the suppl...

Re: Transverse V8
There must be a gear driven primary under that big cover on the flywheel side. Nice engineering. Or, it could be a reverse rotation motor. (aka boat engine) That was my first thought, but two problems. 1) Why??? and 2) it uses a stock appearing water pump which will not work in reverse. I'm not a b...

Re: Transverse V8
I'd like to know how the purple bike works. The engine is in the frame backwards, that is, the engine turns clockwise at the crank pulley. This would cause the wheel to turn the wrong way. If you look at all the other sidewinders, the flywheel is always on the left side. Look at EJ potter's bikes or...

I'm not sure where the Neptune's Net pic came from. I took the photo. I musta posted it on the .com. The yellow bike belongs to Barry, the middle one is Bob's and the 502 partially hidden is Rich's. My bike didn't make it into the shot

Re: Global Warming????
Please do not take this in the wrong way, but Mr. Obama did not say that. This is a direct quote from his book, not the skewed internet version. "Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Ameri...

Yeah, this is the Bill Alexander unit. There are 15 or so on the road. Steve Barr had one before he converted it to a trike. It is a proven design. As I said in the blog, it was originally a truck unit Called the Ranger Torque Splitter. I forget who built it, Warner Gear? I dunno. Anyhoo, Advance Ad...

Back in the 60s, when I "vacationed" in SE Asia we'd say "I would drink her bathwater." Same connotation.

You like me.....you really like me!!! Sally Field 1985 Thanks for the kind welcome. The trans is moving, albeit slowly, along. I will be ready for a lap or 12 around the block soon. With the low gear and a lot less parasitic loss than the Nesco, I think it's gonna be a beast. 385 at the crank means...
