Re: crash
To anyone interested, I will be picking up my bike, soon and assessing the damage. I was told it was cosmetic only. The only major damage is to the radiator. I will be getting it rideable and, maybe, repairing some of the minor damage. It will remain in primer. I will then put it up for sale. Probab...

I hated those early Sportster bars. Weird hand position and the floppy rubber mounts didn't help, either

Re: crash
It is too bad that you had an accident but are you really going to use that excuse to stop riding? What a pussy! At 73 I have as many years riding as you and I figure I have at least 15 more good years of riding ahead of me. So, get healed up, get that machine fixed up and get it back on the road! ...

Re: Dumb questions from a new BH owner
Kit bikes didn't come with an engine, as far as I know. Tell the parts guy that you have a 95 Chevy pickup. I checked the fluid on my one speed standing upright. I don't think they are as fussy as the two speeds.

Re: Boss Hoss Owners
I suspect that these new trikes follow the three wheeled dune buggy concept. About 18 feet long, ugly fabricated springer, lots of diamond plate, high back bucket seats, big ol' spoiler and an aluminum gas tank. Seen 'em.....hate 'em
Re: crash
All of this is very interesting and completely uninformative. Let's all stop BSing each other and ourselves. Here is the unvarnished truth. Motor vehicles kill and maim people......period. Cars are safer. Motorcycles, not as much. That's the truth. Which are the most fun? For me, it's bikes. Always ...

Bottom line is that it doesn't matter.......bike,trike,unicycle, I'm done. My wife has never been a biker chick. She worries about me every time I climb on that thing. We've been a couple for 54 years. It's time to respect her wishes and find another amusement. One could get a severe paper cut from ...

Re: F.A.S.T. EFI for older bikes and trikes
No idea what a spread bore manifold is ?? Thanks All of our carbureted bikes should have come, from the factory, with Quadrajet carburetor. They are referred to as a "spread bore". Two small primary venturies, and two large secondaries. I can see that the FAST system has four, equal sized...
