Re: Wanted to have Surgery again!
I spent three days in the hospital a few weeks ago because of chest pain and difficulty breathing. They performed another angiogram on me,just to check out the stent in my LAD. No problem there, fortunately. A small branch in my heart is 95% blocked so they changed my meds. So far,so good. In the las...

Re: Wanted to have Surgery again!
Hope you're doing well,Tom. My gall bladder burst and they removed it on June 13th. (Yes,it was on a Friday)
Now that you mention it,Carl, mine does look kinda like a bowling ball. A skinny one though as I lost 20lbs in one week, after the surgery.

We'll say a little prayer for a safe procedure tomorrow,Perv. My oldest grandson has had a pacemaker for over 22 years. He doesn't need it anymore so they shut it off about 6 years ago. I've lost over 40lbs since my heart attack a year ago and my perforated gall bladder last month. Helluva way to lo...

Re: Arnott airride for 502 bike
I would call them back and tell them I want two the same or return my money. I really like mine but they used to make them properly. Tell them that as a dealer you can't recommend them to anybody that cares what their bike looks like because the factory doesn't care either. I agree,100%. Their resp...

I don't care for the full body look but those air scoops show some possibilities. Kind of like a rich man's V-Max.

Re: V8 Perv suffers breakdown
Thanks, guys. Woke up early on June 10th with excruciating pain. Sherry called 911 and off I went to the hospital in an ambulance. They determined my gall bladder needed to be removed but because of a persistent fever, they held off on doing surgery. Well, that lasted till early Friday morning when my ...

Re: V8 Perv suffers breakdown
Thanks, guys. The last ten days have been the very worst of my life. So bad that I actually told Sherry we needed to talk about some things, because I really didn't think I was going to live much longer.
Today has been better so I'm more optimistic.
Thanks for letting me post about it.

Re: V8 Perv suffers breakdown
Perv, can you send me just a little bit of your mojo? I had major surgery again last week and I'm really having a hard time getting going. Maybe a good titshot or long smoky burnout vid will improve my spirits. Got an ambulance ride Tuesday morning with an inflamed gall bladder. It perforated early F...

A NAPA FS-120 sensor will accomplish that. That's what I had on our trike and it worked fine.hogv8 wrote:I agree with Peter ,on at 205-210 and off at 180-185 works great .

Re: Squealing back brakes, Again
Those look like Wilwood rotors and if so,they are probably good quality. If it were me,I would call Wilwood and tell them your problem. They might be able to give you some suggestions on what pad to use.
As Barry mentioned earlier, the noise is most likely a glazed hard compound pad.

Re: Squealing back brakes, Again
Well........... that did not last long. Back brakes are making noise again. My last trike did it and this on does it. It has to be a bad design. So what is the problem???? Is it the metal on the rotors. Do I need better ones? Why is it that Boss Hoss has gone much bigger on back brakes and I have t...

Re: Mecury Racing QC4v 1350hp crate engine
The LT5 engine was offered from 1990 to 1995,in the C4 ZR-1. There were a total of 6,939 ZR-1's built in those six years and only 448 were built each year from 1993-95. The 90-92 LT5's were rated at 375hp and the 93-95's were bumped up to 405hp. Stock displacement was 5.7 liters or 346ci. In 1990,a ...

This moron is a perfect example of what the world is turning into. I hope he's not an American, though I suspect he is. I see these clowns every day, at the mall or walking around. Stupid, self absorbed, dimwitted, semi literate jackoffs with their arrogant air of entitlement. "If you don't li...

GM,Lotus Engineering,and Mercruiser formed a consortium to build the DOHC 32V LT5 V8's used in the 1990-1995 ZR-1 Corvettes.

Hate to see it go as it has been a really special ride. Sherry and I put our money together and purchased it in March 2008. We have had a lot of great times on it,for sure, and met a lot of wonderful people.
Re: V8 Trike
Me,too. Wonder how loud that quikchange would be on a trike? When I built my 40 Ford coupe,I installed a new Halibrand V8 quickie in it. The gear howl was so annoying,I installed helical-cut spur gears in it to replace the straight-cuts.Carl La Fong wrote: I'd like to hot lap it around the block 2 or 12 times
