Re: Clint

Happy birthday form overseas as well Clint! What are you awaiting with 62? Will you make it to Europe once, to attend the international rally in Germany? Thank you for the b'day wishes. It was a good one. 62 = Retirement As much as we would like to attend that event,it will probably never happen.

Thanks,Dave. The one I'm kinda looking forward to is 62. ;)

Looks like I've been blacklisted on the other site. That's pretty damned sorry,if true.

Today is my last day of cardiac rehab and when I went out to start my truck, there was ice all over it. Man,that sucks! I'm working the 7pm-7am shift this weekend and having to work outside is going to be a bitch. :2up:

My beverage of choice is either a good marguerita on the rocks or a Bud Light or Corona Extra beer.
Sherry prefers Bacardi Light rum and Coke.

Glad to see you posting over here,Ric. Sure would like to see you posting your cartoons over here. Kinda rare to see anyone getting all butt-hurt about something on this site.

I haven't abandoned the other site but am just taking a sabbatical for awhile.
Life goes on,my friend.

Houston is really humid,Don. You're right about the Texas coast being bad. El Paso is in the desert and Wichita Falls is in north central Texas,up close to the Red River and the Oklahoma border. Rolling plains up here and the humidity most of the time is pretty dry.

If you think health care is expensive now, just wait till it's free.

Name one thing the US government has ever done efficiently.

Humid?!? In El Paso?????? Yeah,I got a chuckle outta that too,Eagle. Heck,North Texas isn't humid, either. Wichita Falls will be entering Stage 4 water restrictions tomorrow, the most stringent. The lack of significant rainfall is really getting scary here. We only get one or two snowfal...

Clint, I bet you'll enjoy just being a member and not a moderator on a site where everything and anything is just fine. You won't have to deal with self righteous Adrian either. I hope we even get more V8 guys from the other site over here too. In any event I'm glad to see that you're here. I feel ...

I appreciate the kind comments, guys, but site support over there finally got so bad,I just felt like I was beating my head against a wall. The last straw was when the site started going to shit again the other day and when I tried to warn them, all they did was throw me under the bus publicly for not ...

I work for PPG Industries in the largest flat glass factory in the world, over 40 acres under roof. Started off as operator of one of their two glass furnaces but I've been in the Maintenance Dept for most of my career there. Re: Raked frame vs Kewlmetal trees

I wondered the same things before I went with the KM trees,Jim. Raking the neck is less expensive but for all practical purposes,a permanent modification. Raking the neck without any other mods is going to result in heavier steering, due to the trail increase. Custom trees would fix the problem but w...

My daily carry weapon is a Sig p938 Nightmare 9mm. It's probably smaller than a S&W Bodyguard. I carry it in a Recluse pocket holster. Preferred carry ammo is Hornady Critical Defense 135gr.
