Re: E10 Fuel.
E10 can cause corrosion and damage to rubber parts and seal on your engine , I wouldn't advise using it at all !
Re: Volts
Thanks Lincoln.
Re: Volts
No but I do have a charger with a 3 amp mode that I occasionally use but the 925 Oddyssey seems to not lose it's charge if the bike is not ridden for a period of time .
Re: Volts
This morning I checked the voltage of the battery and it showed a little over 14 volts and I checked the output right at the alternator and it checked little over 14 volts also but the amp gage still shows this time 13 volts . So I think all is well but I will keep and eye on it the next time I ride...
Volts
My Boss Hoss has been parked in my garage for the past couple of months because of eye surgery I had done . I started it the other day and noticed that the volt meter was only reading about 12 volts while running where it has always showed about 14 volts while running . I checked the belt tension an...

Re: Carb rebuild.
That's a 1901 , too bad you can't send it to Carb Mike for the stage II rebuild/ modifications. It will feel like you gained 50 hp .

Re: Early 2000's Boss Hoss Rewire Questions
Good deal , if you make sketch stating what each wire/terminal is for it make diagnosing an electrical problem much easier .

Re: Early 2000's Boss Hoss Rewire Questions
I did away with those big cloddy plugs and replaced them with a terminal strip , in on side of the strip , out on the other side of the strip and made a diagram of what function each wire on the strip has . I think there were 14 wires in and out .
Re: Fan relay
The only thing I can think of is overheating wires, unless the cooling fan's sending unit in the intake manifold is starting to die? Thanks , I did recently replace the fan thermostat switch , could be a faulty switch which could be possible but I will replace the fan relay with new and a new break...
Fan relay
Has anyone ever heard of a fan relay working intermittently. I have my cooling fan wired thru a relay and a breaker . Somehow it seems like the fan is losing power during hot riding and won't run . I also have a overide switch so I can switch the fan on manually . When the bike gets hot like 210 deg...
Re: Axle
Been wrenching all my life and I just don't work that way especially where there's an axle and bearings involved .knockdolian wrote:Just keep going until you strip a thread then back it off 1/4 turn. Been good for me for 50 years
Re: Axle
3/4" Gerry, I've removed and replaced my axle several times and thought it was 50 lbs but just thought I'd check to be sure .
Re: Axle
Thanks Puff
