Haven't been to Daytona Bike Week since 1989...Got an extra week vacation planning on going by myself...open for suggestions..Cheaper the better, only need a place to shower, I can sleep in my Tahoe...

Elvis, I'm sure you're more knowledgeable about this than I am, But if you're working on the internal shift spring ,(I think)there is a line fitting that if you turn and loosen it you cannot tighten without removing trans..just sayin..

Unfortunatly I wasn't able to ride the 454 with winters trans... I heard under fairly hard acceleration at 80 MPH shift into 2nd and break rear loose!.. Sounds like fun!

From what Kaveman told me , Dennys surgery went well and he's doing good! hope to get him to where he can fly home from Nashville soon ! Both shoulders and upper arms had serious injuries ( and a couple broken ribs!) But when we talked in emergency room he showed no signs of pain and wanted to ride ...

Had a great time at the rally, seeing friends I need to see more often ! Bill, I was honored to attend the football game.. I think 30 bikes/trikes was there with rain threat! Denny transferred to Nashville hospital, having surgery on shoulder 9/26. please keep him in our prayers..As far as 57 Chevy ...

Had a great time at the rally, Great to see Bill and Sue, and all my other friends..both of em' ..Hope everyone made it home safe..

Thanks for the input,, time to start checking things... rode it all last weekend and started it about 30 times and may have happened once...Maybe I just need to ride it more!

Key on , in neutral, push start button...nothing.Not even a click.. Then after a few tries it spins over and starts..maybe button on handlebar? or try relay first?

I am very happy with my 502.. getting a 606 is a pipe dream.. And I think they go for around $35-40,000!! Not in this lifetime!

My 07 502 came with a Holley 850 double pumper w/ mechanical secondarys... and has been flawless..

might be.... never thought of that!
