Re: Trike specific front tire.
Mikie v, I just looked it up on "revzilla" $142.18. Was tax and shipping added to that price? I paid ONLY $119.99. NO TAX, NO SHIPPING COSTS w/ items over $89.00. No tax for Michigan residents. Motorcycle Superstore! This is a Sister company of J&P Cycles. $119.99 "out the door&q...

Re: Trike specific front tire.
Brake pads used were EBC SINTERED FA95HH AS LONG AS THE ROTORS ARE STAINLESS STEEL, you'll be fine. I tried the EBC Sintered on the rear of my trike. Best braking power I ever had, except the rear rotors on my 2008 trike are steel. The pads wore out the rotors prematurely. I'm pretty sure the BH fr...

Re: Help needed
Mike, it definitely sounds like computer / sensor related, with the VSS (vech. speed sensor) most likely the issue ! The very symptoms that you are relating, can ALL be caused by a VSS issue ! The VSS and it's 40 tooth (40 pulses per revolution) reluctor ring are mounted on a bracket at the differe...

I was stopped at a light tonight with my trike when I noticed the RPMs started to drop, I gave some gas and the RMPs went up and stood there even after letting go of the throttle. Engine revving at about 1500-1700 the light changed green and I took off. Went about 50 yards and it felt like the someo...

Re: MOTOR MOUNTS
Here's my broken mount (front-right) about 8500 miles. notice the washers used as shims. After I installed the new one I made a spacer, fits better and looks better. What year is your bike? I have a 2003 with a 350 ZZ4 but my right front mount is different than yours. What engine is in your bike? S...

Re: Sport Mode.
Nothing is finalized as of now but I am going through all the engine combos on the dyno making the calibration better. Some people have had complaints about how their bikes/Trikes run. If you are happy with yours and it runs good then you are fine. If you want a little more power and driveability t...

When you say vented, do you mean drilled?

Re: Trans fill tube
Just an update. Had the tube welded and put on about 150 miles and at one point had the trike up to 110 mph (to build up some pressure) not a drop of trans oil leaked. Coincident, maybe but I'll take it.

I won't be able to slip a hose over it because the crack is at the bracket.Buck wrote:some folks have placed a rubber hose, with an adapter, on the top of the filler tube and extended it upward and capped it off with a small air filter.

Re: Trans fill tube
Yes a trike and I'll be welding the bracket, I'm just curious if it's normal for the fluid to shoot up that far up the tube.SRF wrote:I assume you are talking about a trike not a bike. You need to weld or jb weld or replace the tube it needs to be sealed.

Trans fill tube
A few months ago I posted that I fixed a trans leak by replacing the gasket and pan, NOT. I replace the gasket for the second and while I was filling it I kept looking around for leaks (running) low and behold it was coming down the fill tube but I know for a fact that I did not spill any fluid. Wit...
