Re: Warming Up Your Bike
You're right. I miss spoke, I was told to wait till the engine temp is 150, not the trans temp.

Re: Warming Up Your Bike
I was told to warm up the bike until the trans was up to 150 degrees. It has nothing to do with the engine, which in my case is FI. I wasn't about to take any chances with the trans.
Re: Starter
I've never had one rebuilt, but I'll look into it. Thanks.
Re: Starter
Damn, my BB is doing the same thing. I was hoping to hear better news. Maybe I will see if Norm still has the one he posted about.

Re: Starter Relay
I have checked the fuse box and all is good there. (knock on wood). I'm really hoping it was just too much stuff crammed into that space. I relocated it so there wouldn't be so much pressure pushing on it.

Re: Starter Relay
So I got home last night and started checking things out. Started with what looked easy, starter connections cleaned and tight, starter switch/button looked fine, pulled seat and side cover and found the relay and started to check with light tester. When I went to test the #86 wire when pushing the ...

Shit. I typed out my reply with my questions and concerns, and apparently didn't hit the submit button.
I will try to follow all the advice you all have given me. I say try because the wiring diagram is a challenge for me.
Thanks again for the help.

Re: Starter Relay
Thanks for the responses. Since I'm a firm believer that there are no stupid questions, but there are embarrassing questions, here are mine. Bill, I read posts all the time where wires are traced and checked. Every time I look at the mess of wires that are not only hidden in one harness then joined ...

Starter Relay
Hello all, I've never done this before so I hope I don't butcher it up too bad. My starter relay went out on my bike about a month ago. (I have a 2004 SB with FI) With the help of the dealer I bought it from I found the relay and replaced it. Last night I ran out to do a couple errands and it appear...
Re: Wanted.
Congrats on the new bike!!! One more thing to know about the line lock. When I first got my bike I rode to Corbin to get my custom seat made and applied the "parking brake". It didn't fail, it refused to release!!! After 15 minutes I finally called my dealer and he told me to release the b...
Re: Wanted.
The description says "2 speed auto with reverse and Park". Park? Did I miss something?

Re: 2017 Boss Hoss Models & Options
I know a couple people swapped in speedos from higher milage bikes for the inspection, then swapped them back after they passed. When I registered my new '04 small block bike, it took 10 months to get my plates. DMV told me I was the first brand new BH registered in Ca., and the VIN number came up a...

Re: 2017 Boss Hoss Models & Options
Thanks for the response. I had to register my 502 trike in Nevada when I bought it, until I got 7,500 miles on it. CARB should be disbanded, commies.

Re: Hi from AZ new Boss Hoss dealer
Brian,
First of all, congrats on the dealership. I have a question for you. Do you work your magic on all EFI's, meaning ZZ4's and LS's? I have a '04 small block that has EFI since I'm in Ca. I've had a lot of folks tell me to junk the EFI and go with a carb, but don't really want to.
thanks
Dan

Re: WINDSHIELD FRAME
Dave, Are you looking for the part that pulls off, or the conectors that mount to the forks? I'm easily confused. If your looking for the windshield, I may be able to help you out. Let me know. I'm in Vegas now, but the windshield is at my house in California. I come to Vegas once a month so I could...

Re: Heat from Boss Hoss Engine
We live in central California and it gets over 100 degrees often, and our 57 trike BB will cook you. The body doesn't seem to let a lot of air flow.

Testing. Thanks for the help Billy!
