Re: Boss Hoss NHRA
I'll never forget years ago in Sturgis when Monte came cruising up and down the main drag on old number one. That was it for me. I always wanted a Harley that could run with the jap bikes in the 1/4 mile but, knew that was a pipe dream. I thought a freaking V8 between your legs would certainly do th...

Re: VR2 trans for sale on EBAY
I believe that tranny was solid if built to spec...and built by someone who knew how to build it...Vic had trouble keeping staff because he treated all like SHIT! That transmission was an absolute joy to use. AND reverse could back up a wall as it was a true reverse. It's funny because more than 15 ...

Re: VR2 trans for sale on EBAY
Good to know. Thanks Jack. I've had 3 2 speed Boss's and currently own an 01 but always wished I could bang it into 2nd (overdrive) every now and then but, don't dare. I know the knew Winters is supposed to be able to take all of the abuse you can throw at it but, out of my price range.

VR2 trans for sale on EBAY
It has a $4300.00 buy it now price on it! it's a 1997. Sounds like one of the very first few. I wonder if the very early ones were actually put together well and would last? Man it's tempting to find out at that price.

Have you checked your tire pressure with more than one tester. If you say it's got b50psi and looks flat maybe your tester is not accurate? Just a thought?

Re: New Winters Transmission
Does anyone know how much one would cost or if they are even selling them to anyone yet? It would sure be nice to take the Boss out to the track and be able to bang it into 2nd gear (overdrive) and put up some good times.
Re: Harley's
Wow Petite, I've had all of those bikes too! My wife and friends say I have motorcycle A.D.D. I still have a busa and just sold my 2014 ZX14 this spring to go towards the 01 smallblock I just bought!

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO HAUL S BOSS HOSS

It's an 18 hour drive one way for me... Id love to fly out and ride home but too many irons in the fire currently. Tha...

WTB BOSS HOSS
Hi everyone I've owned 5 Bosses over the years and every time I sell one it isn't long before I get the itch again! Well I'm itchy as hell right now. Just sold my other bikes and I'm looking. Just missed a great deal on ebay a 2001 with custom wheels and nitrous that I could have gotten for $12,500....

Re: New Topic - Old Subject...Sabertooth
I agree Boy Genius... I also have sketches of awesome V8 Bikes and a perpetual motion machine! Bought my first of 5 Bosses in 97. It was a '95 kit. Ever since I have been waiting and trying to think up something on my own that would be a bullet proof trans that would make a V8 bike perform like a V8...
Re: Monte
Man it's always been about the trans! How many remember the VRC trans? I think that's what it was called? I know you do Barry. Too bad...It was a great trans from what I heard years ago... I even talked with Vic himself and heard his side of the story. 2 alpha males that could not make it happen... ...

Re: New torque converter for Berzerker
Tim said he did dyno my torque converter before he sent it to me and it did stall at 3100 to 3200. The heat issue was just a faulty sender. Trans doesn't get above 170 so far. I cant test it any farther as I sold it on Sunday but I hope this helps. Just give Tim a call if you have any questions, eas...

Re: New torque converter for Berzerker
I just installed a new torque converter from Boss Hoss Concepts in my 04 small block. Tim Delbac there is doing all of the trans work from Boss Hoss. He has them made by TCI to his specs and it is a 3100 to 3200 stall. Tim told me it is more efficient and runs cooler than a nesco #7. I can now easil...

NEED TORQUE NUMBERS FOR TRANS PUMP 05 SMALL BLOCK
I just installed a new TCI torque converter and of course after reassembling the bike the torque converter seal was leaking. I split the bike again and pulled the trans pump off and pressed in a new seal (also replacing both O-rings in and on the pump). I'm ready to bolt the pump back on but don't k...
