Over here in the UK it was in the news today that police are to confiscate mobile phones and check whether the driver was using the phone immediately before the accident. Previously this was only done where there was a serious injury of fatality. This is what happened to my 3 month old 'daily driver...

Guys I'm not qualified to talk about SB vs BB in a bike chassis - but if there is any comparison re. the same combinations in a car then ultimately a big block just has to out perform a small block in every respect - ie. alloy block BB is not significantly heavier than iron block SB. I would guess the best way to import one would be as a 'used' model - perhaps partly getting over type approvals. I know that when new non Harley based 'ordinary' chops are built in UK or imported in there are a few people around who will put on legally compliant 'temporary' exhaust system, lights, ...

Thanks for 'heads up' - I'm probably going to 'tread water' here for a while before making any choices - more inclined towards the idea of the V8 Chopper than Boss Hoss - having said that there does seem to be a large number of Boss Hoss owners on here!
