The manual for my '09 says 40 lbs. for the fork brace pinch bolts and 55 lbs. for the steering stem bolt.

Re: Brake light - again!
I believe the one I got for my 2009 was J&P part #240-913, Mfr part #PBL77544CH for 7/16"x24 - 12mm banjo. Yours may or may not be the same. Also order the rubber boot for a cleaner finished look. One of the posts has a pic of my finished job.

Re: Brake light - again!
If you are on the other forum go there and type in "Front brake light switch" and read my post on this. I replaced my unreliable microswitch years ago with a banjo bolt setup per Harold Blocker's recommendation and it's been perfect ever since. Easy to do and no issues.

Pingel fuel valve
2009 350 SB. My original Pingel on/off fuel shut off valve is leaking slightly from the bottom when I turn it on. Anybody know a part # on what the replacement is and where best to get it? Thanks.

Re: Ride on tire sealer/balancer
I tried that stuff once and wouldn't use it again. Sounds good but when I unmounted the tire for replacement the stuff inside was a slimy wet mess that didn't look like it would ever stop a puncture. I wouldn't trust it to work. I'll stick with lead weights for balancing.

I replaced mine several years ago. Got the seals from MBH for just a cuppla dollars. Easy job and bone dry ever since.

Hi Tim and hope all is well with you. I replaced mine a while back and I believe I installed the 16 lb. cap. I pried it out of the BH V8 cover and press fit the new one in.

Re: Oil for your ZZ4
Personally I think the differences in oils is minimal and overrated. Not that I would but I'd be willing to bet you could just use dollar store oil in your engine and never have an oil related issue. It's all basically the same stuff. The ZZ4 is just your basic run of the mill engine with a few perf...

Re: Oil for your ZZ4
The reality is it doesn't really matter what you put in. It's just personal preference. Nobody will have engine failure from using 10w-30 instead of 20w-50 or from using one brand over another.

Re: Boss Hoss Glory Days
Just an update - Bruce and Debbie at Stamford BH are no longer in business. A new dealership just opened in the last 2 weeks or so local to me in Pitman, NJ. and they are going up to Stamford this week to meet with Bruce and Debbie likely to see if they can obtain what they have there. Good news tho...

I did that fix on my first BH and it worked perfectly. I just used a piece of angle iron with the holes already drilled in it and bolted it to the fender clamps. The tubes weren't hard to unscrew.

Re: Wheel bearings
Good idea. I just replaced the front and rear tires on my bike and the bearings were smooth and quiet so I decided to leave well enough alone and not change them.
