Answering my own question got through to the factory by phone and apparently - 2019 rally will be held in Sevierville, TN on Sep 27 & 28.

2019 BH Rally dates / location...?
Hello all Would anyone know where / when the 2019 Boss Hoss rally will be? I assume in TN, Dyersburg?* I'm trying to juggle commitments and would like to make it this year, with 2 cylinders or 8, whatever works. (* The BH website only has the schedule for 2018, and my email to the BH Factory address...

Re: A really good friend has crashed..asking for prayers
Had a traecheotomy today..not sure if that is good or bad news. Without knowing the exact reason / so I might be off-target, a tracheostomy IMO can do good things for people who need one - - makes keeping the airway clear easier for the patient, less work in coughing - by allowing suctioning withou...

A few years back there was a pioneer owner/rider in South Africa... but have not seen or read about him since. I got skeered enough riding a Vrod when I was assigned there, I gotta say.

Thank you Barry! Both for the measurement, and the trike comment. I may yet look to trade 2 bikes for 1 trike haha.

Re: Can any Kewlmetal-front-end 502 owner help me out please
A very close estimate from what I saw with Kewl Metal installs here is about 6 inches more than a stock 502 bike if that helps so someone with a stock bike could give the stock length. May I ask why you need that measurement?? Thank you, that is helpful. I got a medical issue from a past (non-motor...

Can any Kewlmetal-front-end 502 owner help me out please?
Since I'm presently about 7,000 miles away from my bike I can't measure it myself. Would anyone know the distance in inches from the front of the front tire, to the rear axle, on a 502 BB with a Kewlmetal front end? Thanks in advance!
Re: rally
Have been off-line for a long time due to family health and work (I know, excuses...) so it was really great to read a positive review about attendance at this year's rally, which I had to miss. Good inspiration for coming to next year;s, with enough planning time for it all to feasibly happen. Agai...

Re: Trade tarrifs
Hey Rick - yeah I'm a NZer. Spend a lot of time abroad mostly working but also when I can, getting in riding miles and seeing the sights. And so it came to pass that since 2003 I have acquired 2 BHs in the US and 2 in NZ (signs of V8-addiction I know). But, work gets in the way of riding (as, seriou...

Re: Trade tarrifs
Everybody wants a level playing field until their bottom line is affected. I'm just gonna comment on what I know: almost the whole of the non-US world including my own country piggybacks on US-funded and US-led medical drug research for the benefit of their own citizens. And does not pay market pric...

Re: Vapor lock
Have read this thread with interest as (I think) I've had a few issues over the years esp in the desert / Nevada and Arizona; but never in NZ (simply never gets hot enough IMO). I am gonna adopt the octane booster suggestion for sure, because. May I ask a potentially-dumb question - are EFI / fuel i...

Looking good there Doc. How come when you click on the photo to make it bigger it come up right side up??? It is a very good honest price for a very well cared for bike. Good luck with your sale. Re: Bad gas
V useful info. If we get stuck needing to gas up at a crap gas location in the US... does carrying Stabil or similar product solve the problem? Downunder I always shove some in the 502's tank whenever I can't find BP 98-octane-rated gas and so far... so good.
